Pablo Del Monte

Pablo del Monte is the moniker for London-based DJ/producer Paul Whelan.

After a number of years DJing Pablo set up internet blog Brick Lane Radio in 2014 and its sister record label East Recordings in 2015.Pablo’s debut release on East Recordings Rotate rocked deep, tech and mainroom dance floors alike drawing support from the likes of Danny Tenaglia and Cevin Fisher through to Franco Bianco (Hypercolour). However, it was his third release, Glide Over Here, with its remix by house legend Julius Papp that was Pablo’s breakthrough record drawing support from the big deep house DJs like Andre Crom and Horse Meat Disco.

With 5 Traxsource top 100s this year already and forthcoming releases on labels like Audiophile Deep, Maison Records and Denied Music, and with forthcoming releases on Dear Deer and In The Loop 2016 looks like it will be a great year for Pablo.In tandem with Pablo’s developing career his label, East Recordings, has bloomed in a relatively short space of time. Now up to release 18 and with artists like Thallulah, William Medagli, Jose Maria Ramon, Inxec and Rodrigo Ferrari signed East Recordings has had 12 consecutive releases chart.
